Serves 1
Ingredients
- ¼ C walnuts, roughly chopped
- ¼ C pecans, roughly chopped
- 1 TBS chia seeds
- 1 TBS hemp seeds
- 2 tsp sunflower seeds
- 2 tsp sesame seeds
- 2 tsp slivered almonds
- ½ tsp dried ground ginger
- 2 tsp raw honey – optional (you could also use unsweetened applesauce)
- Small handful of berries to top (I like blueberries)
- A few splashes of milk alternative
- Couple of dollops of non-dairy yoghurt to top – optional
Method
- Simply throw all ingredients into a bowl, add milk alternative and top with berries and yoghurt if using.
Notes
- All ingredients should be organic whenever possible.
- Always store your nuts in the freezer, to protect the delicate oils from going rancid.
- I suggest you make a batch of this ahead of time by increasing the ingredient quantities by two or four times (apart from the milk and toppings obviously) and storing in the freezer in a mason jar or air-tight glass container.
