Serves 1

Ingredients

  • ¼ C walnuts, roughly chopped
  • ¼ C pecans, roughly chopped
  • 1 TBS chia seeds
  • 1 TBS hemp seeds
  • 2 tsp sunflower seeds
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp slivered almonds
  • ½ tsp dried ground ginger
  • 2 tsp raw honey – optional (you could also use unsweetened applesauce)
  • Small handful of berries to top (I like blueberries)
  • A few splashes of milk alternative
  • Couple of dollops of non-dairy yoghurt to top – optional

Method

  • Simply throw all ingredients into a bowl, add milk alternative and top with berries and yoghurt if using.

Notes

  • All ingredients should be organic whenever possible.
  • Always store your nuts in the freezer, to protect the delicate oils from going rancid.
  • I suggest you make a batch of this ahead of time by increasing the ingredient quantities by two or four times (apart from the milk and toppings obviously) and storing in the freezer in a mason jar or air-tight glass container.
