Gluten-Free Banana Protein Pancakes | Tara Thorne Nutrition

Makes about 8 pancakes

5 grams of protein per pancake

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1/3 C gluten-free oats
  • 3 TBS melted butter
  • 1 tsp real vanilla essence
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 pasture-raised eggs
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 TBS hemp seeds
  • ½ tsp cinnamon – optional

Method

  • Blend all ingredients together.
  • Heat pan on medium-low and melt some butter.
  • Turn pan down to low, pour mixture in, in 2 small-ished sized pancakes, and cook for about 3 mins each side, depending on how hot your stove is.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • To give them an even bigger protein boost, smear them in nut butter to eat.
