As we age into our 40’s and beyond, we need to start thinking seriously about hormone replacement therapy, (HRT).
HRT is very health-protective and can significantly reduce our risk of disease states such as dementia, cardiovascular disease, and osteoporosis. But there’s still so much fear surrounding HRT, and this is frustrating because this fear is misplaced.
There are reasons why people are fearful of HRT but you shouldn’t be, and in this episode I explain how the fear started, why it's misplaced, and how HRT – when done right – isn’t only safe, but very health-protective and a necessary part of healthy ageing.
